Stage 1 - Pre-Sidement Filter
5-micron polypropylene sediment filters remove dirt, sediment, rust, and large particles. These dual sediment filters protect and keep the UF membrane from clogging.

Stage 2 - Granular Activated Carbon Filter
The GAC filter polishes the water as it exits the system. It adsorbs any residual tastes and odors just before the water is delivered to the faucet.

Stage 3 - Ultrafiltration UF Membrane
Rated to remove particles as small as 0.2 microns, a UF membrane is the closest available to RO without the need for a drain. It removes microscopic impurities. The UF membrane consists of a semipermeable membrane wound around the perforated tube. Product water diffuses through the membrane while impurities become trapped in the membrane. No wastewater and no tank are required.
